VIENNA, Austria — 23 December 2025 — Volunteers linked to Foundation for a Drug-Free World Austria have expanded outreach in Vienna, engaging young people, parents and teachers via public information points and event-based activities. The Vienna effort is led by Gabriele Toker, a local organiser, the initiative relies on “Truth About Drugs” materials to present straightforward information on drug risks, with particular attention to cannabis, described by public monitoring bodies as the most widely used illicit drug in Europe. A short report is available via a Scientology Europe report.
According to organisers, the Vienna activities focus on early prevention, including at large public community outreach Vienna gatherings such as the Donauinselfest, while also supporting teachers seeking prevention tools for schools. Ivan Arjona, Scientology’s representative to the European institutions and the United Nations, said: “Prevention works best when young people receive verified information early, in plain language—supporting both community well-being and European civic values.”
